Today's the big day. If you're looking for something to fill your Saturday, run to Springfield and pig out on some crawfish!
Crawfish time in the Ozarks! On May 10th, 2025 The Bayou Bandit is hosting our 4th Annual Crawfish Cookoff and Cajun Festival at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in SPRINGFIELD, MO!
Access will be provided through Gate 10 off Smith Street and you’ll find us located on the Northeast corner of the fairground property at the Central Buildings Event Center, visible from N. Grant Avenue.
Gates open at noon for those that wish to watch the teams cooking or get in on other activities. Sampling of the crawfish dishes will be available, along with raffles, games, live music and eating contests.
In 2025, you'll have the opportunity to sample 34 unique crawfish entries, along with smoked alligator, wild boar, frog legs and more.
This event will take place, rain or shine, as it will be under roof, out of the weather!
