A Personal Announcement from the Rustic Cup Coffee Company Team.
Over the last several weeks, after much prayer, discussion and consideration, we have made the decision to sell The Rustic Cup Coffee Co.
This was not an easy decision. Since opening our doors, we have been blessed by an incredible community. We have appreciated every customer who stopped in for a cup of coffee, every encouraging word, every recommendation to a friend, and every act of support you've shown us. You have helped make The Rustic Cup more than just a coffee shop—you helped make it a gathering place.
As we looked toward the future, we felt that our community deserved a coffee shop that could continue to grow and offer even more than we have been able to provide. While we have loved serving you, we also recognized that we were not in the best position to take the shop to the next level. Rather than allow it to remain just a good Coffee shop, we have made the decision to place it in the hands of people who have the time, vision, experience, and ability to help it become everything it can be.
With that in mind, we are excited to announce that The Rustic Cup Coffee Co. has been purchased by the owners of The Mockingbird from Jane, Missouri. Beginning June 29th , the shop will transition to its new name and ownership.
What gave us confidence in this decision is the heart of the new owners. They care deeply about people, customer service, quality products, and creating a comfortable & welcoming atmosphere. They bring a hands-on approach to leadership, a passion for homemade baked goods and a vision that we believe will be a tremendous blessing to our community.
While the name will change, we believe the spirit of hospitality and community will remain strong—and in many ways, continue to grow.
We would encourage you to welcome them, support them, and give them the same kindness and encouragement you have shown us. We are excited to see what the future holds for them and for our community.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. Thank you for every visit, every conversation, every smile, and every ounce of support you've shown our family.
