New Albany has seen many restaurants come and go over the years and there is only one that has stood the taste test of time, Latham’s Hamburger Inn, since 1928. In the late 1970s Latham's moved across the street to it's present location which was once an alley. Latham's is New Albany's only restaurant to have survived the "taste" (test) of time! It is proof that good clean Southern hospitality, an ice cold Coca-Cola, fifteen bar stools, a wall of tried and true proverbs, a friendly face and a burger fried in a cast iron skillet will surely keep the patrons coming back!

It was so fun meeting these sweet ladies, Mary Clare from Mobile, AL and Tanya from Starkville, MS. They were in town to enjoy the Tanglefoot Trail. They stopped and visited with our sweet friend Kimberly Hill on the trail and she sent them our way! They got in 12 miles on Friday! Way to go ladies! 🥰🎉

Catch us on a good day and we’ll re-open. 😉Glad we did. Such a nice gentleman, and former owner of Community Hospice. I was a Hospice nurse for many years. Hospice is near and dear to my heart. It was so nice meeting him and serving him his first Latham’s Famous Dough Burger!
