We are so heartbroken to share the passing of our sister Connie. Owner of New Florence Family Restaurant aka Ligonier Street Diner. In light of her passing we will be closed this Saturday for her viewing. We will be open from 2-5 between services for Connie’s family and friends to share food and memories. Thank you to all of the loyal customers over the years. Please say a prayer for comfort for family, especially her daughter and Mom.

After a very long week working morning until dark, we think we're ready to Welcome everyone tomorrow morning! 🥳We weren't able to get all we wanted done, but did accomplish a lot in the short time we had. Shout out to Allan Solich, hubby Randy, "Pap" Keith, son-in-law Victor, Randi Lee, Anthony and Cassie, Donna, Mom, Pete, Teresa, Abby and Joe (apologies if I forgot someone). Please be patient while we transition, staff are learning a brand-new Cash Register/ordering system and with things moved around a bit in back it will take some getting used to. Big thanks to my sister for being supportive and helping with all the questions! We will be phasing out the New Florence Family Restaurant FB page soon and you can follow on the new "Ligonier Street Diner" FB page. We will have a new phone number for take-outs that I'll post there. The menus hasn't changed really, and we may be changing some items up as time goes on. Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

We’re getting there! We won’t have all we wanted to do done by Monday, but the main focus of the kitchen will be mostly complete. We passed our health inspection and putting things back in place. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone 4/28

We are about 1/4 through! Kitchen floor pretty much done. We’ve been busy all day every day this week to prepare to re-open Monday under the name “Ligonier Street Diner”. 😊. We will have fresh pies, cream puffs and Apple dumplings Monday morning pending our inspection. Shout out to CT Pizza of New Florence for feeding us this week while the kitchens been down. 💞

Stop in for a hot meal at The New Florence Family restaurant today before we close for the week. We are open until 4pm and will be re-opening 4/28 at 9am. We look forward to this new chapter and seeing all our friends and family back Monday the 28th!! A bittersweet day for sure for Connie, so please lift her up in Prayers. My sister is without a doubt the strongest woman I know. 💞
