To our valued customers,
We just want to clear a few things up.
First — our staff is NOT allowed to ask customers for tips. Period. If anyone comes to you asking for a tip, please let a manager know right away. That is not acceptable here, and we have already terminated employees involved. We’re sorry if you experienced that.
About the automatic gratuity for parties of 6 or more — this is common in many restaurants. Even though we are a buffet, our servers are still working the whole time. They’re clearing plates nonstop, refilling drinks, cleaning tables and floors, and taking care of families and large groups. It’s not a “no service” situation at all.
We also want to clarify our $7.99 policy, since there’s been some misunderstanding.
This is not a penalty for unfinished food, and we are not going around charging customers for what’s left on their plates and we have never done this to any of our customers.
The purpose of the sign is simply to encourage everyone to take what they can eat and help reduce unnecessary waste. You’re always welcome to go back for more as many times as you like.
If you do have leftovers and would like to take them home, we’re happy to offer that option — we can package and weigh it at $7.99 per pound as a to-go item.
When too much food is taken at once, it cools down quickly. Then people feel like the food isn’t hot. Our buffet is kept at a safe and proper temperature — if it’s too hot, the food dries out and quality goes down.
If you come later in the evening (around 8:30 or after) and something is running low,
just let us know. We’re more than happy to cook fresh food for you and your family.
As for pricing — we understand people have concerns. With inflation, rising food costs, labor, and daily waste, everything is more expensive now. Right now our pricing is $15.99 for lunch and $21.99 for dinner, and we’re doing our best to keep it reasonable.
We are a new business, and we’re still improving every day.
