Say hi to Izzie, our appetizer / dessert line cook , our most recent hire but it’s been a minute. Funny story i first met her when her Dad Chef Vinnie helped Ryan and Myself open RŪNA in 2019, needless to say she was a wee little baba. Now that she’s a beautiful wise young woman, She has decided to follow in her Dads footsteps and has completed the culinary program in Ulster BOCES and will graduate high school in a couple weeks. We are super delighted that we’ve made it full circle with her and her family, it makes it extra special. We are also lucky to have her pastry and piping skills and her close eye for detail and organization. .. trust me she’s a pro . We love you Izzie. 🖤

Ever wonder how we get our fries so crispy? We use a method perfected by .

They get a water blanche then we freeze them, then they get an oil blanche and back to the freezer they go before their final cook in the fryer. This creates a crispy outside and pillowy soft inside. 🥔
