A new project in the world of coffee accessories has been introduced by the design team of Shenzhen Samore Design & Research Product Planning.
They've created unique paper coffee cups with lids and an unusual cup holder that stands out for its functionality and style. These items are made from renewable and biodegradable materials that are fully recyclable, although the specific composition is being kept under wraps for now.
A key feature of these cups is the cup holder named "Accordion." Its multifunctionality is evident in its accordion-like design, which allows the holder to be easily stretched and folded. This is particularly convenient when carrying multiple cups with one hand, eliminating the need for an extra tray or bag. This design also improves the thermal insulation properties of the cup, helping to keep the beverage hot much longer.
This project has been awarded the iF Design Award 2024 in the categories of "Professional Concepts" and "Packaging Concepts." Although sales have not started yet and the development process continues in secrecy, it can confidently be said that the "Accordion" has every chance to become a real breakthrough in the packaging and coffee accessory industry.
