Cafe Un Deux Trois

Cafe Un Deux Trois A festive French Bistro serving the theater community since 1976 Cafe Un Deux Trois has been located in the heart of Times Square since 1977.

We opened when the neighborhood was quite rough, and soon became the spot to stop for dinner and drinks before heading off to Studio 54 and Xenon to dance the night away. We were and still are frequented by American and European theater and film actors, as well as politicians, directors, local New Yorkers and tourists from around the world. You will find many a Broadway cast and crew member hangin

g out after the show on any given night
We recently had a facelift featuring enormous windows and a new color scheme. The food while still classic bistro fare has expanded to include a variety of sandwiches, burgers and an extensive breakfast. Our latest addition are desert crepes or savory crepes served with a salad for an inexpensive light meal.

Al Roker, America’s weatherman, joined us for one last brunch with his wife Deborah Roberts and their son Nicholas Roker (along with Un Deux Trois manager Chad Wilkinson).

Like so many of our guests, they were shocked to hear the news of our closing—but grateful to share one final meal and a few memories at Café Un Deux Trois.

Thank you for the kindness, the warmth, and for being part of our story. One last brunch, forever remembered. 🥐☕✨

After 48 unforgettable years, Café Un Deux Trois is closing its doors — and with it, we say goodbye to an era defined by extraordinary leadership.

For 29 years, Randy St. Louis has been the steady hand, the calm presence, and the heart of this restaurant. As General Manager, Randy didn’t just run Un Deux Trois — he protected it. Through changing neighborhoods, shifting industry tides, late nights, packed dining rooms, Broadway crowds, and quiet mornings, he carried this place with integrity, grace, and unmatched professionalism.

Randy’s career in New York City restaurants is nothing short of remarkable. Decades of service, mentorship, and dedication to hospitality have left an indelible mark not just on Un Deux Trois, but on the countless staff members, guests, artists, and regulars who were lucky enough to cross his path.

Restaurants don’t last 48 years by accident. They last because of people like Randy — people who show up, who care deeply, who lead with humility, and who understand that hospitality is about human connection as much as it is about food and drink.

Thank you, Randy, for everything you gave to Café Un Deux Trois and to this city. Your legacy lives on in every memory made here — and in every person who learned from watching you do it right.
