LOWER EAST SIDE X ROCKAWAYS
still a nightmare out there...and its getting worse

We partnered up with Psyop, Antibes, Little Esop and build a strong little alliance to boost the Lower East Side x Rockaways Initiative... that made it possible to deliver daily provisions like tons of soups, instant flames/food warmers, candles, batteries, torchlights and water. From Saturday on we drive out to the Rockaways with a Food Truck to give out hot food and started already to prepare big quantities of delicious soups. A lot of prep work since we plan to serve 300-450 meals per day. please support this initiative by donating some money. just stop by at 125 rivington street at Tiny's Giant and drop some bucks. Thank you!

Our neighbors are seriously mobilizing! We have people showing up in cabs to drop off tons of supplies to send to the Rockaways! The needs are dynamic so please keep an eye out here for updated lists of what is needed. Currently, the distribution areas are inundated with clothing, so we can no longer accept clothing other than jackets, underwear (new), and socks (new).

another 2 vans full of amazing things!! thanks a lot to all our supporters, we got around 50 brand new down jackets, tons of really great food, candles, flashlights, baby products, cleaning supplies, blankets, clothes and other valuable things and we were so happy to see how much love you all put into this and you went for quality. thats so heartwarming to see! thank you lower east siders!! you def rock!!!

Good morning! Another day of our Lower East Side x Rockaways initiative. We keep the same deal up: Coffee for help: Proceeds buy stuff for the Rockaway folks. If you want to donate, please give following items: Batteries (especially C&D), Flashlights (Maglite if possible), Surgical Gloves, Hand/Foot Warmers, Warm Blankets (Target), Toothbrishes (Duane Reade), Razors (Walgreens), Duraflame Firelogs, Firewood, Winter Coats, Socks, Dry/Powdered Milk and milk that doesnt need refrigeration, Pet food, Shovels, Mops, Brooms, Bleach, Cleaning Solutions, Pumps, Generators, Fuel or donate funds so we can buy precisely the stuff they need out there.

LOWER EAST SIDE X ROCKAWAYS Yes, we got our power back! But a lot of others don't. We decided to start a tiny initiative to support the folks in the Rockaways who really need all help they can get. Two vans full of stuff came together today, a 3500watt power generator, 180 bottles of water, 96 huge cans of campbell soup, 28 torch lights, 2000 candles, 600 cookies, 240 double A batteries, lots of black tea, clothes, gloves and other useful things... people there where so happy about us showing up, it was heartwarming... thanks to everyone who supported this initiative!! let's keep it going!!!

Hurricane news
Hey friends,
Due to hurricane Irene we couldn’t get our regular bread delivery today.
Dont worry - we are still open - but only offer bagels, coffee and salads.
