Today’s Special, “George’s Drunken Saligaria”
(Snails)! 🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌🐌
Out of the shell(I call them homeless) and slow cooked in a scrumptious red sauce with pearl onions, mushrooms, herbs and spices and two different wines!
It pairs great with “Fragospito”, a delicious greek red wine, 50% Syrah-50% Cabernet!
Come over, be brave, keep an open mind and try this delicacy! It’s way tastier than the classic french escargot dish!
Since I introduced it a few years ago it has gotten a devoted following! You may be hooked too!

Fresh Sardines and Marida(smelts) in their respective cases packed in ice and in their plates ready to be enjoyed!
The sardines are either grilled or pan fried, either way delicious and healthy!
The smelts can only be fried, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
The ideal accompanying dishes are Horta(dandelions) or a Horiatiki(country salad) without of course diminishing any of our other vegetarian dishes!
An exceptional Ouzo always the drink of choice for seafood!

Fresh Barbounia - (Red Mullets or Rouget(in French) or Triglia(in Italian) - from the Senegalese Atlantic Coast! I recommend them pan fried crispy!!! It is one of the most delicious and popular fish in the Mediterranean basin, from Israel to Spain!
