We will be closed this Monday as a salute to our employees who need a drink after working themselves to the bone, in hellish heat, this last week to serve as many of you as possible. Thank you to all our customers that make this big day possible for us. God bless America❤️

The July 4th semiquincentennial is around the corner and nothing is more American than delicious, slow smoked BBQ for the whole family. It’s a scientifically proven fact.
So we’re opening up preorders for July 4th for scheduled pickups. This is the recommended way to go. We will serve every day-of walk in and takeout order till the wheels come off but this is the way to have your prepaid bag of joy waiting and ready to go for the big 2-5-0.

On a personal note, tomorrow is my daughter’s last day of school right across the street at Growing Up Green Charter School. I really can’t say enough about this extraordinary place and all the staff there. They made my kid a straight A student🤷‍♂️ Did I mention my kids a straight A student?😊Highly recommended. My partners kids also went here and had a great experience also. To show our appreciation and now that it’s no longer bribery, we got a keg in the back and the party is on us Friday for all GUG staff.
Come by and shake a teachers hand before they vanish.

We’re showing all World Cup games and obviously rooting for the USA but we’re in Queens and it seems our neighbor Beija-Flor is ground zero for Brazilians fans in Queens. They overflowed so much, every spot in the neighborhood was a Brazilian spot for the day. And these folks know how to party. So, for the next couple weeks we’re just gonna say “Eu sou brasileiro, com muito orgulho, com muito amor!”🇧🇷 Nossa casa é a sua casa.
