This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. 🇺🇸

Because of their courage and selflessness, we are able to enjoy moments like time with family, weekends at the ballpark, and the opportunity to do what we love every day.

❤️🍦 Moments like this are what it’s all about.

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to the amazing students in Mr. Parker Emerine’s class at Newark City Schools for all of their hard work on this incredible real-world project alongside the Licking County Health Department 👏

These students didn’t just complete an assignment… they created something that will have a REAL impact in our community by helping develop and draft a 100% to***co-free workplace policy that Drip Dreams was proud to officially adopt 🙌

We also want to recognize Mr. Emerine for being such an outstanding role model for his students. The way he creates meaningful opportunities, encourages leadership, and helps students connect classroom learning to real life is truly special 👏📚

To all of the students involved — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves. Your hard work, professionalism, teamwork, and dedication did not go unnoticed ❤️

📚👏 Real-world learning in action at Newark High School!

We are so proud of the seniors in Mr. Parker Emerine’s eighth-period English class for participating in an impactful community project through the Licking County Health Department and Live V**e Free, a to***co cessation program for teens and young adults.

Students researched local business to***co-use policies, then worked together to draft and revise a 100% to***co-free workplace policy. Their final draft was shared with Drip Dreams Ice Cream in Newark and the company officially adopted the policy created by our students! 🎉

This incredible project gave students hands-on experience with research, writing, collaboration and professional communication while making a real impact in our community. Seniors pictured are holding copies of the policy draft they created.

Thank you to Mr. Emerine for bringing meaningful, real-world opportunities into the classroom, and congratulations to these students on an accomplishment they should truly be proud of! ❤️🖤
