Traditional Greek Salad. In Greece, Horiatiki salad was prepared with large cuts of tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers, feta and of course kalamata olives. Horiatiki salads or village salads were enjoyed for breakfast or lunch because the ingredients were plentiful from the farmer’s daily harvest.
