Don Fernando — our founder, our father, and the heart of our story. 🇵🇪

Don Fernando came to the United States in the late ’80s with a dream and the determination to build a better life. His passion for food was always part of who he was. Even after working double shifts, he would come home at 1 a.m. and make soup for his daughters. Cooking was one of the ways he showed us love.

When he opened his doors in Newburgh, he wanted to share that same love with our community. He wanted his Peruvian culture to shine, his food to become part of your homes, and his dream to become his legacy.

He welcomed so many people into our family because he knew what it felt like to be alone in a new country. Around his table, there was always room for someone else.

Sometimes it’s hard to talk about him because we miss him so much. But we want you to know that his passion, his pride, and his love still live here at Don Fernando.

Today, as his daughters, we carry his dream forward. Every meal we serve is a chance to honor him and share a little piece of the Peru he loved.

From our family to yours, we will always give you our best. Thank you for being part of his legacy. ❤️
