Plum Island Coffee Roasters is a local specialty coffee house located in the center of a working boatyard in Newburyport, MA. We roast, serve, and sell specialty coffee beans from around the world. At Plum Island Coffee Roasters, we make sure that our coffee is the freshest it can possibly be. All of our coffee is roasted in small 50 lb batches, which allows the roast master to have incredible qua

lity control and adds artisan flare to our coffee. Our coffee is roasted fresh every week and shipped to us the same day it is roasted, ensuring that our coffee is ultra fresh. We serve a variety of cafe beverages and always have a light, bold, and decaf drip coffee on tap. If you’re hungry, our menu also includes a variety of delicious breakfast pastries, soups, sandwiches, and wraps from Warren Street Market. At Plum Island Coffee Roasters, we are always committed to providing our customers with great coffee, friendly service, and a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.

✨The last and the final update✨
First, we want to thank absolutely everyone who has come in over the last seven weeks to tell us how much the roasters has meant to them. To everyone that signed the petition, wrote letters, made phone calls, stopped in for daily updates- thank you. While we appreciate your efforts and we all tried our hardest to save the roasters we will be closing Sunday April 18th.
Secondly, we have created a community here and inside of that community we have built our own family, a family that will be missed every day. A community that will be missed greatly by everyone, especially when you get that first cup of the day.☕️💗✨
We hope you’ll stay close, and we hope you will all come in and send us off. After we close we hope you’ll visit our sister Soufflés over on the corner of State St.☕️💗

✨☕️Hey, all!☕️✨
We wanted to take a QUICK minute to let you know what’s going on now that today marks March 31st. We are still here and we’re not leaving just yet.... there is still magic happening. Here at the roasters we’ve got an April schedule and we plan to take it day by day till the end (in the wise words of Bruce “if there is one.”) Keep checking in with social media for updates and be sure to stop in!✨
Don’t forget Easter Sunday is just a few days away, come grab your t-shirts, stickers and coffee beans to make your baskets extra special this year🐰🐣💐 We will be open and we can’t wait to see you!✨💗

✨Late Night News!✨
We have MORE t-shirts, finally! We’ve got large and x-large (unisex) t-shirts in stock and we’ve got smalls and mediums on the way! That means we have bumper stickers and t-shirts for you guys to represent your favorite coffee shop!☕️💗 We’re also doing our absolute best to have tons of beans readily available for you on our shelf, and by that.... we mean we ordered a whole lot extra this week for y’all! Always remember you can order beans online, too!✨
Tomorrow is Sunday and the last day of this beautiful weekend, but more importantly.... it’s Pi Day! 🥧✨Who will we be seeing for some pie flavored drinks!? Blueberry pie🫐? Or a banana foster🍌? Cherry pie🍒?

Currently our petition is at almost 15k and we’ve had multitudes of people tell us about the letters they have already written to take action with us. When you go on the site there are currently two things to do, sign the petition and contacting your local representatives. Have you done your part yet?!✨💗☕️

As most of you have heard we have received devastating news that we have 45 days to close our doors, as you know our beautiful waterfront shop has become a second home to many- a community of its own.
Here at the roasters we are remaining positive, hopeful and optimistic about our future. We are so, so humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love and support from you all and we are hopeful that we can keep the momentum going.

Hey, friends! Happy January!✨
We are officially one third of the way through winter and only sixty-three days away from spring... but who’s counting?🌞🌼 With that said, we wanted to give you guys some updates!💝✨
We have T-Shirts! Made locally and available in sizes small, medium and large (unisex), they’re blue-teal in color with our original Plum Island Coffee Roasters symbol!✨
Also locally made and available are our PICR tumblers made by 👌🏼 Although we are not currently taking reusable cups- we love to see everyone doing their best to reduce, reuse and recycle in this time! You ARE noticed!🌎
Last but certainly not least, Chemex! If you haven’t tried a pour over yet, it certainly is the season to sit down and relax while you not only make your daily cup but also enjoy it! We sell Chemex carafe and filters to set you up for the perfect one stop shot!😍 Check out our fine selection of beans, or ask for help from one of the lovely baristas, and bring home a great gift for the entire home.💝✨
