Yessssssssss!

In my many years on this earth, I had yet to have gotten a blue egg in my carton. Until today. Squeal of joy is an understatement. More like a shrill of jubilee escaped my lungs.

This moment is was just another reminder that all animals are a little different. Some chickens lay blue eggs and some lay brown eggs. This goes for human beings as well. Unless a twin, not one person shares exact genetics with another. And guess what, that is wonderful!!! That’s what makes us unique and special. I hope that today you take a moment to think of one thing that makes you a little different and love on it. Let us all celebrate our originality!

Happy 4th, Y’all!
Wishing everyone a safe and fun-filled holiday!

Even though times are tense and I don’t agree with current situations, I am proud to be an American. I remember being elated the first time I stood in the classroom, hand over heart, and recited the Pledge of Allegiance from heart. I have high hopes that the tides will begin to change for a better America for ALL. Until then, I will support the causes and keep the faith. Please remember to keep your heads up and to always be kind to your neighbor.

Oh! And don’t forget to run after you light the fireworks!!!

Found this little guy in my basil.
People tend to get squeamish when a critter pops up in their organic produce, but I say we should celebrate their appearance! Avoiding harmful pesticides is our goal and finding a healthy bug chomping down on your leafy greens is a sign that you are doing just that.
So hats off to you, Mr. Beetleman. Dinner is served!

PSA 🚨Remember to wash all your fruit and vegetables before cooking and consuming. Not only does this wash away pesticide residues, dirt, and surface waxes, it is crucial in preventing foodborne illnesses.

Here is this week's menu and some NEWS! The SoulFULL Plate hears you and you asked for options. That is why we are excited to announce that SoulFULL Plate is adding both single servings and lowering the minimum order to $75. To help cover the cost of delivering smaller orders, a $15 delivery fee will apply to orders under $150. There will still be free delivery on orders of $150 or more. We hope this helps both families and individuals more flexibility to enjoy our fresh, clean, locally prepared meals. As always, The SoulFULL Plate is committed to using organic vegetables, hormone-free & pasture-raised proteins, olive and avocado oils, and clean salts. Meals are cooked fresh and delivered the day of preparation to ensure the highest quality.

Meet Felix the raving cat!! He is going to help keep the spirit up while I drive around making deliveries. With all the crazy drivers out there, I am glad I now have a co-pilot.

Happy Father’s Day to all those grill masters out there!!!

Thank you for always holding down the backyard BBQ parties. For slinging hotdogs, hamburgers, and the occasional tofu patties over an open flame on a scorching hot summer day or braving the 4 foot snowbanks in winter to score the perfect ribeye. Whether this is your passion or just done out of necessity. We appreciate you!!!!
For those of you Dads that don’t grill, we love and appreciate you as well! Just maybe not as much at dinner time 😏
