Retire? Yeah right. 😂

Chris just can’t help himself.

Now he’s back there creating Neapolitan dough made with Cold Smoke Beer — giving the crust a smoky, nutty flavor that is honestly pretty dang incredible.

The man may never actually retire… and Newcastle probably shouldn’t let him.

To the amazing Class of 2026 —

This weekend isn’t just about caps, gowns, and diplomas. It’s about every early morning, late night, hard lesson, comeback, heartbreak, win, loss, friendship, and memory that got you here.

Some of you grew up in our booths sharing pizza after games.
Some celebrated birthdays here.
Some worked your first jobs here.
Some came in after dances, concerts, tournaments, and long school days just needing food and friends.

And now look at you.

From all of us at Pizza Barn — congratulations. Newcastle may be a small town, but it raises tough, hardworking, resilient kids who know the value of community.

No matter where life takes you next, never forget where you came from. Small towns build people differently. Don’t let the world convince you that kindness, grit, loyalty, and hard work are outdated. They aren’t.

Dream big.
Work hard.
Stay humble.
And remember… there will always be a place for you at The Barn.

Congratulations Class of 2026.
Your Barn Family is proud of you. ❤️🍕

It’s finally time.

After everything…
The setbacks.
The cleanup.
The rebuilding.

We’re opening the doors.

The Pizza Barn is BACK.

Not halfway.
Not patched together.
Back the way it should be—clean, ready, and built for our community again.

Grand Opening: April 21
4PM – 9PM
66 Old Hwy 85

The salad bar? Back.
The hot buffet? Back.
The games? Coming back strong.
The community table? Waiting on you.

This place was never just a restaurant.
It’s where memories are made—and we’re ready to start making them again.

Let’s pack this place like it’s supposed to be.

✨ Ladies… this one is just for YOU ✨

Join me at The Pizza Barn for a morning filled with coffee, cake, and connections.

We’re hosting a “Ladies Only” Coffee, Cake & Create event where you’ll decorate your own cake, enjoy a cozy coffee bar, and spend time in fellowship with other amazing women in our community.

This isn’t just about cake… it’s about slowing down, laughing together, and filling your cup (literally).

**Day 3 Community Update – The Pizza Barn**

Day 3 gave us a gift — beautiful weather — so we took the work outside today.

Here’s what we tackled:
• Picked up and cleaned trash in and around the parking lot & fixed fences
• Chris got up on the roof to check things over
• We made our big to-do list for Monday… which officially makes my “honey-do list” look tiny 🤣

Every small job is one more step closer to reopening The Barn the right way.

I know I keep saying this, but it’s because it truly matters — thank you to everyone who has reached out, offered help, prayed for us, and cheered us on. We feel so supported and so grateful to be part of this community.

More soon.

**Day 2 Community Update – The Pizza Barn**

Day 2 was all about the behind-the-scenes work that no one sees — but that makes everything else possible.

Today we tackled:
* More paperwork to keep things moving forward
* The not-so-glamorous job of cleaning out the walk-in cooler

And yes… we now officially understand why the restaurant world says, “Go cry in the walk-in.” 🤣

It wasn’t pretty, but it was necessary — and it’s another big step toward reopening The Barn the right way.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, offered help, prayed, and cheered us on. Every message reminds us why this place matters so much to this community.

Onward we go.

Thank You, Barn Family ❤️

We are so grateful for everyone who came out today to pick up items. Almost everything has now been picked up, and it truly warmed my heart to see everyone.

Thank you for helping make sure nothing went to waste and for showing so much support during this transition. It means more than I can express.

If we come across more items that can be shared, we will absolutely post again and let you know.

We appreciate you all — and we look forward to serving this community again very soon.

— Pam

**Community Notice – The Barn**

As many of you know, we are in the early stages of bringing The Barn back. Because we won’t be reopening for a little while, we currently have perishable food items that cannot be stored long-term.

Rather than let anything go to waste, we would love to offer these items to our community for free.

If you or your family could use fresh food, please come by:
The Pizza Barn today ~ Come around back
(Please bring bags with you)

Everything will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

This community has always supported The Barn, and this is one small way we can give back during this transition. Thank you for standing with us — brighter days are ahead. ❤️

**Day 1 Community Update – The Pizza Barn**

Today marked the first official step forward in bringing The Barn back to life. While the doors aren’t open yet, real progress is happening behind the scenes.

Here’s what was accomplished today:

*Utilities and essential services have or are in the process of being transferred back into my name
*Spoke directly with vendors to begin restoring supply relationships
*Cleaned out prep tables and dough trays

This is just the beginning, but every step matters. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with encouragement, prayers, and support. Your belief in this place and in us means more than I can say.

More updates coming soon as we continue moving forward.
