Today I stopped at Weigels where 321 changes names and saw a veteran so did what I always do...
"Thankyou for your service sir,and welcome home"
He looked at me and smiled and thanked me then said....
"Two Shy Chefs! I used to eat with you all the time. Thanks for the ten dollar vet meals!!"
He made my day.

When our food trailer was open it was nothing to get new followers but always appreciated to say the least.
Now,we've been closed over a year,Dave has been gone 294 days and yet weekly there's new followers.
I'm not sure exactly why,I'm not a content creator I'm nobody special, yet here you all are.
So,in essence, I thank you and promise to keep boring you with my nothing posts and life's happenings.

I just witnessed something heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time
I was at the Humane Society dropping off some towels and these officers were outside the gate waiting on Animal Control to pick up this Boston Terrier that was dumped at one of the houses on the road on in.
They were the ones called because it's in the city limits.
Anyway the officer on the right was so smitten with this baby he decided then and there that once a bath was given,that pup was going home with him.
He also named him on the spot, so everyone meet Convict and thank his new daddy for having such a beautiful heart!!!
