Specializing in Jewish cuisine from around the world: delicious, nutritious, traditional, and new. We want to continue our culinary heritage by preparing traditional dishes that meet today's more health conscious tastes and social and environmental values. Our Newton Culinaria is our dedicated gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free, production kitchen. We are certified Kosher Pareve under Lighthouse Kosher supervision as of 9/20/2022.

Latest test round of the GF focaccia style pan bread had a clear winner (top left). Science! Look forward to doing a large batch next week to offer it for sale! Will sample it in store too, everybody who has tried it has loved it. Very satisfying to have a large loaded sandwich on real bread (thanks to fresh-milled organic flour and long slow process).

We will be closed this Friday for Shavuot so if you need anything for the weekend pickup Thursday. We're closed Sundays for the Summer (but can coordinate Sunday pickups if necessary for larger orders.)

We're trying to continue offering fresh prepared meals on a bi-weekly schedule (fish, sides, chopped salads). The more gets pre-ordered the more feasible it is to offer them, so please share with others (know anybody with allergies, is seed-oil-free, values sustainability, veg/vegan, or just wants simple wholesome food?). And we have the large selection of frozen items that make for super convenient any-day meals.

Schiacciata bread, test 2! Baked much lighter so it can be toasted from frozen. This time added fresh rosemary infused into the olive oil and salt. Delicious!Excited for test #3 to be just right and perfect for making large sandwiches.

Also, next week we'll be preparing our fresh Thurs/Fri items again. Thanks for your patience waiting for them, trying to figure out how to make it feasible to continue offering them regularly.

Schiacciata style bread, in the R&D phase! First test very promising, can't wait to make a sandwich on it. Taste testers (customers) loved it, despite my opinion that it is over-proofed and baked (the testers were all sourdough fans, so it was perfect for them with a strong sourdough tang, texture, and crust.)

Excited to tweak it and make a larger second batch next week.... and to offer it for sale soon.

Inna's gefilte fish! Thanks mom for helping with the holidays, and especially with the gefilte!

Well have quite a few extras available for pickup tomorrow (Tuesday 3/31) from 12-2pm for those that did not pre-order. We'll also have tzimmes, matzo balls,, stuffed peppers, latkes, and more K for P items fresh and frozen.

Second picture is us receiving lots and lots of local potatoes from RI.
