Finished Chemotherapy this morning!! Unfortunately I start 28 rounds of radiation starting November 18, but at least I’m moving forward and 1 giant hurdle is done. Thank You everyone for the thoughts and prayers!

Jon said I need to post more photos of the creative work behind my work. I am currently working on a character cake (my most anxiety laden projects)!! It’s for my beloved nephews 8th birthday. Not going to say what it’s supposed to be because if you bake you understand it sometimes changes 🤪. All I can say is rainbow cake filled with mini m&m and sprinkles.

Coming to a close on chemotherapy!! Finally finish next Friday. I will be taking orders for Thanksgiving. Please make sure orders are in by a week in advance. Pies range from $15-$25, and all cookies are $3.00 a piece.

Thanks to my mom, my kitchen smells like fresh apples and cinnamon!!! (I LOVE FALL🍁) It doesn’t look like much just a streusel topping but that’s covering a shortbread crust and apples covered in fall spices. Top it off with the homemade salted caramel!!

Having a proud mommy moment! Blake won his age division for the Bergholz 5K beating out several 14 year olds at the age of 11!!! His final time was 23:20 making him 9th place overall.

To all my wonderful followers, many of you know but for those that don’t I have been MIA for far too long. I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time after 7 years in remission. I am going to be fine my scans came back clean and it’s not in the lymph nodes. I had a bilateral mastectomy 7 years ago, and I had a 2% chance of recurrence. I will be undergoing chemotherapy starting next Friday and continuing for 12 weeks, followed by radiation for 24 rounds (I already had my lumpectomy). I have still been baking when able so here are some pics that I never got around to posting
