Happy Monday my friends!
🧡 A little update…

First, July is sold out and we're on to August!! 🎉

Seriously… thank you!!!
Every order you’ve placed over the last week has really helped me chip away at everything that needed to be done. Because of you, we’ve managed to tackle just about all of it. There’s just one thing left.
We’re down to needing about 15 Emergency Stock-Up Bundles to cover the repairs on our main vehicle, and then we can finally put the whole crazy last few weeks behind us.

If you’ve been planning to grab a bundle, today would mean more than I can put into words. We’re sooo close! And the emergency bundle has so many fantastic choices! It's the perfect way to glide through the end of summer then transition with ease into the back to school hustle this fall.

On the other hand, the silver lining of every bad situation, when there's crisis....I get extra creative! This weekend I really put that energy into building an entirely new preorder menu for August/September!

There are several brand new meals I’ve been wanting to share, mixed with some of your all time favorites! I am ridiculously excited about this lineup. I have a feeling a few of these are going to become instant regulars, even in the pickiest of houses!

So today feels like a pretty exciting day around here…

What a weekend!
And it's not quite done!

Crave Northwest 2026 was a blast in spite of the heat and I had a great time meeting so many of you face to face!

Our team really came together and pulled off something special.
We flowed through service with ease and still had plenty of time for silly fun! And in the end....we won!!!! People's Choice for best dish! Woo!!! 🥳🥳🥳

And to top it all off George, our youngest turned 18 in the middle of it all! 🧡

What a wild ride from start to finish.
Thank to the entire Crave northwest team for working so tirelessly in the ridiculous heat to make the event the fun weekend it always is! I'm grateful to be a part of it.
Thank you to MY team... Geo Domitrovich, Caitlin Domitrovich, Natalie, Oscar, Jason Powell, Derek Domitrovich! We did a good job guys! I'm proud of us!

Well… last week was....a lot.
Thursday to Saturday was a blur of a 48 hour day that culminated with all three of the vehicles our team depends on breaking down! But it was the weekend and nothing could be done immediately so we paused.

Usually, if one of our vehicles is down, the other two step up. Someone gives rides to the kitchen. Someone takes care of extra errands and handling deliveries that weren’t theirs. We shuffle schedules, trade keys, help shuttle all the kids to all the things and somehow make it work because that’s what families do. And that's what we are, family.

This week, though… with all three cars waving a white flag at the same time, It’s been one of those moments where you just stare at the phone after getting another repair estimate and laugh a little, because what else can you do other than cry watching months of hard work swirl down the drain in one swift, unexpected hour. Good grief.

☎️ Boom 💥 Jason’s repair: about $600.
☎️ Boom 💥 Oscar’s repair: about $600.
☎️ BOOM💥💥 Mine: currently estimated at $3,000–4,500!!! 😱

The one thing that’s always been most important to me is taking care of my people as we grow. Jason and Oscar have been incredibly patient through all the ups and downs of building this business, and they take such good care of me. They help keep everything moving.

Between managing inventory, cooking, making deliveries, running errands, and solving a hundred little problems no one ever sees, they put thousands of miles on their cars so dinner makes it to your table on time.

That’s why, when something goes wrong, I never hesitate to help get them back to 100%. Taking care of the people who take care of this business has always felt like the right thing to do and I've always tried to make it my top priority. And truly these guys make up an enormous part of my life.

But as a small business, with no corporate safety net—when things like this happen I do what I know and make a special. So here we are. No pity party, no doom spiral....(well....maybe a tiny one 😂), but mostly just a whole lot of gratitude and gumption and a whole lot of tasty food.

This absolutely made my day. Truly. 🧡

My inbox has been flooded the last few weeks with the kindest messages, encouragement, and people going out of their way to tell me they’re proud of me and proud of what we’re doing here. I don’t have words for how much that has meant to me. It’s been huge, literal fuel for my spirit.

There is something so weirdly thrilling about getting your shelf selfies and little “I found you!” updates from Yoke’s. Seeing our meals out there, tucked into carts and headed home for dinner, still feels like the coolest, weirdest thing. I'm not sure it will ever feel real to me. Seeing them on those shelves is cool and all but seeing you all excited to hunt them down and bring them home is even better! I love getting these messages!
