Cutting up these cute little sammie samples for career day at Woodys school is putting me in my feelings. We’ve been in business for four years. Four years and two kids and a white knuckled education in business, motherhood, and what happens when those things collide simultaneously. I’ll tell the kids to walk through physical and metaphorical open doors. I’ll tell them to pay attention to what lights little sparklers in their bellies. I’ll tell them everything that’s worth doing is hard and that’s where the beauty hides. Do the hard things and they’ll feel something wild and good unspool inside them, a portal opening to the next good hard thing. 🖤🕳️✨
