EDIT: We decided to consolidate Java Jackets and move it to Miami Heights back in November (before we ever knew about Roneys.😂). This decision is best for our family and the business so we are VERY excited for it!🙌
It is with both gratitude and excitement that we share our last day at our North Bend location will be May 31!
While we are incredibly excited to move Java Jackets Coffee House to the heart of our community in Miami Heights, it is still emotional to say goodbye to a space that became so deeply ours—and yours. Over the past six years, countless memories were made within those walls, and so many lessons were learned that we will carry with us into this next chapter.
When our family opened this community coffee house in the middle of COVID, we had no idea it would become a stepping stone to something even greater. While yes it was a place to reconnect and refuel (our mission), it also became a space to celebrate every moment you could think of, and a space to raise funds and awareness to things that matter.
Last May, we were given the incredible opportunity to purchase the assets of a historic bakery and we have worked hard to continue its legacy of providing beloved classic baked goods to the Westside, while also expanding our vision for Java Jackets. It’s been a year of learning and evolving and now here we are finally taking the leap to move it all! In just around 30 days, Java Jackets will be moving into its forever home-the main bakery production facility on Shady Lane.🥳
We feel incredibly blessed and deeply thankful for the love, loyalty, and support you have shown us throughout the years.
This is not goodbye—it is the beginning of something beautiful, and we can’t wait to make so many new memories with you!🫶🏻🥹💛☕️🍩
Here are some throw back pictures! Feel free to share any of your favorite moments at this location in the comments!🫶🏻👇
