Battle of the Brunch 2026 kicks off THIS SUNDAY, 7/12 with Ken and Terra facing off for the first week of round 1, cooking with salami and pepperoni!
A little about these two cooks--
Terra is one of the owners and she has been here since the beginning. Her inspiration for cooking came from her dad, Jan, and a long time Walthers cook who also is still a cook here, Carl. She went to Johnson and Wales for culinary school and she loves cooking for people because she thinks it makes them happy. She likes to cook with meat the most- her favorite is flank steak. When she's not in the restaurant, she enjoys playing with her kids. If she wins battle of the brunch, she said she will celebrate by kissing her kids!
Ken is a cook here. He has been cooking for 30 years, 9 of those with us. Ken's favorite thing to cook is pasta. Ken's favorite music to cook to is the '70s. He enjoys spending time with his grandkids and wife. If you knew Ken, you might be surprised to know that he is writing a cook book! If he wins the battle of the brunch, he will celebrate by relaxing!

Welcome to July! Our Beer of the month is Thirsty Dog - 12 Dogs of Christmas, and our drink of the month is Pineapples!
Our hours for the fourth of July with be 8AM-7PM. Stop in and pick something out from our bakery table Friday or Saturday to bring to your party!

Plan on stopping by on the 4th to snag some desserts from our pop-up bakery table!
