Howdy y’all!

As a family-owned business, we’re incredibly thankful for the support our community has shown Hilltop over the years. With our 4th of July celebration right around the corner, we wanted to share an update.

After weeks of planning and preparation, we’ve made the difficult decision not to host fireworks this year. Between permit costs increasing dramatically from last year, ongoing construction delays on Thompson Road, and the many moving pieces involved in an event of this size, we feel it’s best to take this year as an opportunity to learn and prepare for an even bigger and better celebration in 2027.

Trust us, nobody is more disappointed than we are. We love bringing these events to the community, but we also want to make sure we do them the right way.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our family, our staff, and everything we’re building here at Hilltop. Whether you’re a longtime neighbor or visiting from across DFW, we appreciate every single one of you.

We’re looking forward to a great July 4th and summer on the hill and can’t wait to celebrate with y’all soon.

We’re excited to announce our hot dog eating contest happening tomorrow at 1:00 PM! 🌭

**Divisions:**
- Kids Division: Ages 12 and under
- Adults Division: Ages 13 and over

To make this event a success, we need at least 5 participants in each division. We’ve got trophies and prizes ready to go, but we need your registrations to make it happen!

Don’t miss out on the fun — register today and join us for a hot dog showdown! If we can’t get enough participants, we may need to postpone the contest, so sign up!
