The Vault will shut down temporarily tomorrow, hopefully for no more than a month, to update a few features. Unfortunately, for the last few months we have had someone tampering with our a/c units on the outside of the building. The tampering has occurred on the same day as the last two major events were scheduled coincidentally of course. We fought hard to get this business up and running and now we find ourselves dealing with some local issues where the law applies to some but not to all. Unfortunately it goes all the way to the state level but if you understand politics in Oberlin you understand what we mean. There are a few who proclaim they want Oberlin to grow but that only applies if they are making money off the growth. The towns slogan “better together” actually means those doing the illegal activities in town are better together if everyone else just doesn’t talk about it.
