🐍 SNEAKY SNAKE! 🐍

If you know Pat Pugh, you know he's never been much of a social media or camera guy. 😂

So over the past few months, while getting Tide2To Table ready to open, we've been "sneaking" around with the Insta360 catching Pat in his natural habitat. Every time he spotted the camera, it was the same thing...

"Sneaky Snake!" 🤣

Gloves, bags, towels... whatever he could get his hands on, he'd throw over the camera to block it out. Meanwhile, we just kept rolling. 🎥😂

This Fourth of July weekend, we're celebrating one of Ocean City's favorite personalities, and we're proud to have Pat back where he belongs—behind the bar. 🍻🌊

Pat came to Ocean City in high school and never left. From Pickles, to Mother's, to Da Lazy Lizard, and beyond, he's been part of the fabric of this town for decades.

One of the earliest published recipes, dating back to 1901, called for a stiff batter, plenty of crab, a hot pan, and drawn butter.

It wasn't about adding more.
It was about letting the Chesapeake speak for itself.
