Happy Friday friends. It’s fried chicken Friday so check out our specials menu. Also some holiday weekends announcements. We are OPEN MONDAY!! Come see us Monday 10-6 for a full menu, cold cuts and salads by the LB and $5 corn dogs. We will have $5 corn dogs starting today all weekend (With a purchase of $16 or more 1 per customer, while they last )

We’re working on an updated menu that will include all of your faves from our specials menu plus some new items so stay tuned. We’re open regular hours 11-9 Thur -Sat and 10-7 Sunday plus 10-6 Monday !! It’s going to be a rainy weekend so come hang, we’ve got seating, parking and bathrooms. If it gets chilly enough I may even make some soup. There will be brunch on Sunday too!

We also now offer 3 & 6 foot heros. Totally customizable !! Email or call us for info.

Hey friends, happy Thursday. Checking in at week 10 of the Deli/Eatery being open. So far we are having a great time, loving meeting so many new people and love to see our long time customers finally get to come to our place! We’ve definitely worked hard to get here and we hope you’re all enjoying it as much as we are. We’ve got a few announcements: We will be open for Memorial Day! That’s right we’re doing a meatless Monday holiday! We’ll be open from 10am-6pm full menu, cold cuts and deli salads will be available. Hoping to have to backyard open soon, we will keep you posted on that. Rice balls are back in the case this week, GF and regular. We’ve got drumsticks and juicy marbles steaks and oshi salmon and we’ve got some oshi cod filets on the way. Surf & Turf? Deli case is stocked with freshly made salads and we’ve got cold cuts for slicing and heros made to order as well as a full hot menu. Nashville hot wings and sandwiches are back too! Cubanos seem to be a crowd pleaser too so they’re back on the specials menu this week. Let us know what else you want to see. We got a bunch of requests for a BLT so it’s on the specials menu today ! This is a great way to try our house made bacon. Ok back to the kitchen, hoping to get some banana bread out to the case today. See you at 11!

Happy Sunday Friends, just a quick reminder that we now have a brunch menu on Sundays! Our regular menu is also available all day, we have fresh deli salads and house made cold cuts available sliced by lb. We’re open from 10-7 on Sundays! Come check out along Islands Only Full Service Vegan Deli and Eatery. There’s plenty of free parking , we have seating and restrooms. We’ve got some great brunch specials today, made to order heros, hot sandwhiches, wings, chicken sandwiches, burgers , salads and more. Hi Friends, 6 week brick and mortar check in. First of all THANK YOU for keeping us so busy over the last six weeks! We love seeing you all so excited about the deli. We’re excited too. We also appreciate your patience while we iron out the kinks and make some changes to how we do things as we continue learn and grow. We know it’s a bummer when we change or remove your fave menu item or we have to change the price of something after a week or two but we’re still figuring things out and we want to be here for the long term so we have to make sure we’re doing things sustainably .
We want you all to have a great experience, and are happy to accommodate your special requests when we can but we hope you understand that there will be times that we will not be able to do so.

In more exciting news we’ve got a Sunday Brunch planned for tomorrow (4/19) and $2 from every item on the specials menu will go to the Monarch Recovery Project NYC. Check out for more info on the amazing work they do. We’ve got a fun brunch menu and we’re super excited to see you all tomorrow. Thanks again for your continued support 🫶🏻

Happy Friday Friends. Hope everyone had a great week. Thank you all for keeping us busy at the deli!! It’s fried chicken Friday!! Check out today’s specials. Fried chicken buckets are back !! Customer fave BBQ plates are back today too! Wing samplers !! Our regular hot and cold menus are always available too.
Deli case is fully stocked, we’ve got rice balls, sweet and sour tofu, chicken salad, tofu egg salad and so much more!! We’re slicing cold cuts to order all weekend . We also have cheesecake, cannoli, cookies and shuga pies in the bakery case. All of our cold cuts and chicken are made in house and all hot food and deli sandwiches are made to order. Hey Friends, Vegan deli opening check-in time: we’re heading into our third week of regular business hours and wanted to take a minute to check in with you all. We’ve noticed a lot of new followers here so welcome and thank you for checking us out. We think it’s going pretty well so far, we’ve seen lots of familiar faces and noticed many new regulars already. We love that! The community is really showing up and we couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity to feed you all. A few things to note as we’ve been getting a lot of questions. We will eventually roll out a weekend brunch, we just want to be ready with the right menu and team in place so it goes smoothly. We’re thinking about holding off a few more weeks til our patio is open and there’s a few more seats for you to enjoy your meals. Stay tuned for more brunch updates. We will no longer be using our google # for text ordering. It’s just too much to take phone and text orders and our staff does not have access to the google #. If you’d like to order for pickup you can do so by calling us at (516)208-3300. Thank you for understanding. Deli meats by the pound: we are working hard to build stock so we have more variety and higher lb limits available. We love that you’re loving this, please be patient we will get more out soon! GF options: we will be adding more GF foods to the case every week, and we’re happy to hear your suggestions. There’s probably a lot more to say but I’m running out of time, gotta get back in the kitchen and start prepping for the week! Hi Friends, we made it through opening weekend 🎉 We also got written up in Veg News ! How cool is that? (Link in Bio) While I’m still processing the weekend and the fact that it all went so well and it’s all really real lol I just want to say thank you to everyone who came in this weekend to check us out and show some support. Of course with any new business we still have stuff to figure out but overall it felt like it went really well! The support from the local community was amazing! So many new faces. Who knew we were all missing stuffed cabbage so much?!? ( How do you all feel about borscht ? Let us know what else you’d like to see on the menu or in the deli case )Thanks to so many of our regular customers who seemed just as excited as us and came in every day we’ve been opened so far ! We would not have been able to open the deli without your continued support over the last few years! We can’t wait to see you all again this week. We will be open Thur-Sat 11am-9pm Sunday 10am-7pm .

Hi Friends, Here we are one day away from our official opening !! We’re so excited to officially open our doors. We’ve already received such a warm welcome from the Oceanside community and felt so much love and support from so many of our long time customers we can’t wait for you to see all the new stuff we have coming your way. Over the next few weeks as we get our footing and really get used to our new space we will be ramping up production of our cold cuts and you’ll be able to buy it by the lb to take home. We’re excited for this weekend and will have a decent selection of sandwiches, salads and hot food from the kitchen but if you don’t see what you’re looking for let us know! Opening the deli has been a dream of ours for a long time, and getting to actually do it feels almost surreal. We absolutely would not be here without the support of our amazing community and we want to provide comfortable place for everyone to enjoy cruelty free food made from scratch. There is definitely more I want to say but it’s a bit overwhelming at the moment and I’m very sleep deprived so just know we are so grateful to be able to open this deli/eatery and couldn’t have done it without all of your support. We’ve been working so hard for the last few years coming up with recipes, traveling around meeting so many ppl and over the last few weeks we’ve put everything we have into building this place and we hope you’ll love it as much as we do. This is your place as much as it is ours . We will be open this weekend Saturday 11am-9pm and Sunday 10am-7pm our regular hours going forward will be Thur - Saturday 11-9 and Sunday 10-7. We hope to expand to more days in the future but need time to find the right team and work out all the new business kinks. Well the ❄️❄️❄️ cut out weekend short but we had a great time at our first ! Thanks to everyone who came by Saturday to try our food, you kept us busy grilling up our most popular sandwiches.. you especially liked the Reuben, Cheesesteaks and chicken cutlet heros this weekend. While the blizzard sent us home early we did not leave empty handed. Got to finally check out and . Great Meeting you Rich and Karen, thanks for all th amazing food and doing what you do! We also finally got to try and meet Tim the genius behind the meats and cheese meeting other vegan meat makers is always a good time, lots to talk about. Also the port wine cheese is Amazing!! Thanks to our lovely event neighbors for being awesome and making the best healthy crackers, dressings and more ! Got to grab some vegan brews from to take home.
We really had a great time even with the bad weather and hopefully you’ll be able get some of these products like cheeses etc. and crackers at our shop soon, we’ll do our best to make that happen. Thanks to Robin and BJ for putting on this great event, we were super bummed to leave early , hoping next year is blizzard free!!

Hi Friends, Happy Meatless Monday! Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our soft open this weekend. We didn’t know what to expect and we were super nervous but you all showed up with the most positive energy !! I really have no words to describe how it felt to have so much support and love in our new space. So many familiar faces ! Seeing everyone hanging out, talking ,eating and having a good time was everything ! Thank you!! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. We will reopen officially on 3/7 but if you missed us at the deli this weekend we will be at barrier today from 1pm ish. We’re already a little behind schedule please be patient !! We love you all and are so excited for the next chapter of SVK !! Thank you Sara for jumping right in and helping us figure it all out! Thank you for setting up the beautiful candy display. Deli / Eatery opening update: Hi friends, just wanted to update everyone on our progress opening the Oceanside shop. We really wanted to be able to open this weekend for a sneak peek but as these things go we hit a few snags and had to push the preview weekend back a week. We will open our doors for the preview weekend on 2/14 and 2/15 from 10-6 both days. We will have a limited menu but all your faves will be there along with some new items. After the preview weekend we will close for a few weeks and then open officially on 3/7. We will also be on 2/16 for Presidents’ Day (hours tbd) so you’ll have 3 full days to catch us in Oceanside. We hope to see you, we could use the support and friendly faces. We’d love some feed back as well about what you hope to see on the menu and what products you’d like to see in the store. Feel free to comment or sen an DM. Keep in mind our kitchen will remain nut free but we will carry package products that contain nuts like candy bars etc.

Hey friends, here’s our February calendar, we’re hoping to be able to open for a sneak peek on 2/7 - 2/8 and again on 2/14-2/15 so stay tuned... in the meantime you can catch us on 2/2 & 2/16, on 2/1 , on 2/4 and at the for the very first time on 2/21 & 2/22 . We’re so so close to being ready to open the deli/eatery and really could use your support to get us across the finish line. We’re so excited to open up our space after 4 years of popups we can’t wait to open our very own doors to everyone. Just some notes on our space, we are located on Lawson Blvd in Oceanside, right at the LIRR station there is plenty of free parking in 2 large lots on either side of us, we will have seating and we will have a customer restroom. We have a few more things to take care of before we can open and some of it is out of our hands so we will keep you posted !!

Happy Friends! Join us tonight in Oceanside for our very last popup of 2025!! We’ve got a great menu tonight and we hope you’ll come see us one last time this year!

We’ve also got some big news to share. As many of you already heard we are opening a brick and mortar location in a few weeks! That’s right we finally did it!! Before we talk about the new place and what to expect we wanted to thank you all. We could not have gotten to where we are without the support of this amazing community! The new place is as much yours as it is ours. When we started this business four years ago we had no idea where it would take us, but we’ve met so many amazing people, made so many friends and through all the ups and downs have always felt the support of this community. Our new place will be a full service vegan deli and eatery. There will seating & restrooms. The last photo is a mock up of what our vision is for the outside. It’s in Oceanside, right in front of the train station. There is parking. We will post a lot more about it in the coming weeks. We want this space to be for everyone so let us know in the comments what you’re hoping to see in a new vegan space.

In the meantime we can really use the support now more than ever lol so we hope to see you at our New Year’s Day Brunch at . Everyone who comes to the brunch will get a discount card for the new place and we’ll have some fun giveaways and a raffle as well. We’re so excited for this next part of the SVK journey and we’re so happy to have you all along for the ride!! 💕🌱👩🏻‍🍳

It’s the last market of the year and we’re bringing a BIG menu with your fave sandwiches and some winter specials that I only make a few times a year.We’re making a pan of our four cheese and veggie lasagna and serving it with garlic bread, we’ve got my personal fave creamy tomato soup with a bacon tomato grilled cheese on Texas toast and even rice pudding along with everyone’s favorite apple cider donuts and even some pre-packed deli slices for you to take home and make your own sandwiches with, or just eat out of the pack we don’t judge. We will also have our best sellers like the BECSPK, Reuben, cheesesteak and bacon cheddar ranch fried chicken sandwich. Lets end this 🗑️🔥of a year the only way we know how. Lots of cruelty free food and friends. Come hungry and leave happy!! See you on Sunday 12/7 !

The worlds been feeling pretty dark lately and seeing everyone having a good time, eating cruelty free food, supporting lots of small businesses and non profits was a reminder that there’s more good out there than we think!
