Dearest Gentle Readers of Ocracoke,

It has come to this author’s most reliable attention that whispers have been drifting along the docks and carried on the coastal breeze: When shall the beloved Deja Brew Coffee Shack reopen its doors?

Pray allow me to set the record straight.

In a move certain to stir both anticipation and delight, Deja Brew Coffee Shack shall open its charming doors on the fifteenth day of April.

One must admit, such a delay only heightens the allure.

Rest assured, dear readers, when the day arrives, the coffee shall be bold, the pastries nothing short of irresistible, and the welcome as warm as a Carolina sunrise. April 15 will not merely mark an opening—but a return worthy of the finest gossip.

Until then, do try to remain patient… though this author knows how difficult that can be.
