On any given Friday you can walk through our doors here at at 7PM and be greeted by the sound of a talented and cohesive jazz group filling the halls. The is a collective of local musicians with rich backgrounds in playing & teaching music at a collegiate level. Their sound is always tight, and their catalogue is a growing mix of classics from the eras, and originals composed by the leader .
We at the bistro, and our guests are so privileged to have these exceptional musicians bringing live jazz to the street every Friday for us all to enjoy. And notably many of these gentlemen play in or lead other sessions with us other days of the week.
If you haven’t heard them yet, make this Friday’s plans to catch the New Ogden Jazz Group at Two Bit @ 7PM!
And if you have - we are sure it’s only a matter of time before we see you again!

“Fortunately, there is a small but thriving jazz scene in Ogden. At the corner of 25th Street and Washington Boulevard, on the first floor of the historic Bigelow Hotel, you will find the Two-Bit Bistro. You will also find — on Wednesday and Friday nights — live jazz. On a recent Friday evening, I wandered in with my partner and discovered a young jazz guitarist named Conner Anderson there with his quintet of friends, the New Ogden Jazz Group, playing the standards and taking requests…

Five minutes later, after a brief band conversation about “keys” and “changes,” Antonio Carlos Jobim’s languid and bittersweet bossa nova started up, its dreamy Chopin-inspired introduction floating up against the copper tiles and across the bar. I had found home again.”

🤯April has flewnby, but we’re looking to the future with a packed month of live Music & entertainment! Here’s a few announcements for MAY:

❤️We are finally back to creating flyers to bring all of our show dates into one concise place for your convenience
✅ Planning to join us for one of these lovely shows? We have been getting more busy during our live nights, so we reccomend reserving a table for groups of 3+! Looking for a more casual experience? Ask about our lounge seating!
🎸 Many of you may know .music who has been jamming out with the other jazz groups we have. Well he has his own Trio show he does with us - EVERY Sunday during brunch service!
☕️ CAFE COMING SOON - after over a year of teasing, our cafe is nearing completion. Keep your eyes posted for details and dry runs!
