Today’s marking Four J’s 11th years in business and it could be our last year of operating. Not because we’re not making in this business, but because our health issue and it’s about time for us to hang our aprons. Thanks to all for on going support locally and nationally. We’ve had many customers passing through I-44, I-40 and Will Rogers Airport who appreciate our Lao/Thai food and hospitality. On behalf of Four J’s and families, we’re grateful for your business.

Holiday greeting from Four J’s. We’ll be closing for the Thanksgiving weekend from Thursday 11/27-12/1/2025. There’s also a good news for our regular customers who are wondering if we are closing our door for good at the end of this December or not.
Four J’s has just recently been confirmed that we are extending our lease for one more year through 2026. Thanks for your on going support. Wish y’all a very happy Thanksgiving.

Years before Ma Der skyrocketed to national fame, earning chef Jeff Chanchaleune two nominations at the James Beard Awards, Four J’s was among the first restaurants in town to introduce real-deal Thai and Laotian cuisine to OKC. Today, the pint-sized southwest side eatery is still cooking up food that reminds me of my travels through Thailand. What started as a homespun business, cooking food for colleagues and friends, evolved into a family-run brick and mortar named after the owners’ four daughters, whose names all start with “J.” On the menu, look for Laotian-style papaya salad, splashed with pickled fish sauce, and rice noodles tangled with ground pork, fermented soy bean sauce, cabbage and bean sprouts. Sure, it has the requisite pad Thai, but venture afield and try something more legit, like tom kha coconut milk soup scented with galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime, basil, young corn and cilantro.

Four J’s has received pouring support from The Saucee Secilian’s customers in the last couple of weeks. We were so busy that the wait time was about 40 minutes to an hour. We’re sorry that many have to walk out because of long wait times. Please avoid rushed hours at lunch or dinner time if you can. There are only two of us,husband and wife, running the place. The chef’s, my wife, is the only cook. She is not as fast as she used to be because she comes down with fingers arthritis . She goes to bed in pain and wakes up in pain. That slows her down big time. That’s the reason we plan to sell the restaurant. Our next plan after the restaurant would be a food truck or trailer and open just two or three days a week.
Lao sausages and sticky rice on Friday and Saturday only. Lao noodle soup, Kaosoy , flavor similar to MISO and everything else are available daily.
