OKC, we just leveled up.

The Foundry was already one of our signature SteamShakes, but now it's packing even more local firepower. We've officially partnered with Starwhisk Bakery to create a custom cookie made exclusively for Oklahoma Milkshake Factory.

This isn't some off-the-shelf cookie tossed on top. This thing was built for The Foundry.

Built on a foundation of chocolate chip cookie dough and cookies & cream ice creams, piled high with chocolate, Oreos, M&M's, and now topped with a bakery-fresh custom cookie from Starwhisk Bakery, The Foundry has become everything we love about OKC in one outrageous shake.

Two local businesses. One ridiculously over-the-top dessert.

The things you don’t see…

Management leading their team with regular staff meetings and morning huddles.

We read all reviews, we listen to feedback, and we adjust as necessary. We ignore the snarky cute comments that don’t provide any real feedback i.e. “these milkshakes don’t bring the boys to the yard” 😂

The team cares and understands that growth and improvement is necessary. The biggest negative review quote we receive: “Braums is better”. Respectfully, we’re not trying to be Braums and Braums isn’t trying to be the Oklahoma Milkshake Factory. Completely separate products with a completely different brand and mission set.

We have 1 hr wait times sometimes because the volume is insane. It’s a new business and when you have 60+ shakes on the screen you simply cannot make a product with this much detail and this many toppings in just one minute.

And believe us, after the 518 milkshakes we made from Friday-Sunday business is increasing because people are understanding the hype! We’re not just an average ice cream shop…we are special.

When a customer calls your manager “lil girl” and tells her she’s “worthless”… but she still keeps a smile on her face and continues greeting every customer like nothing ever happened. (She’s only 20.)

That’s when you know you have an incredible leader on your team.

There have been a lot of moments behind the scenes that people never see. The good, the stressful, the overwhelming, and the lessons that come with building something brand new. But through it all, we keep learning, we keep improving, and we keep pushing forward.
