We are deeply saddened to announce that Jakes experienced a devastating fire on March 17th that has resulted in our building being unusable. There was NO ONE in the building when the fire began, and everyone was safe.
We are working to assess the extent of the damage, salvage what we can, and make plans for moving forward.
We want to express our gratitude to the emergency services personnel (including Cedar creek, Van vleet, Southeast, Shannon, Wren, and Okolona fire departments, the sheriff’s department and police department, as well as the electric department) who responded to the fire and worked to contain it. We also want to thank our loyal customers for their support and understanding during this difficult time.
We will still offer catering services to offsite locations (jakes, but we come to you for large groups! Weddings, family reunions, proms, banquets, etc)
We will provide updates on our progress as soon as we can. Thank you for your continued support. We hope maybe one day you can join us at our table again.
