With everyone's generous support, we have been able to pass the halfway mark of our goal. Please continue to share this post, if possible. With all my heart, I want to thank all of you for renewing your support. If it weren't for faithful supporters like you, my journey to come back into this business would be impossible. Your funds have helped me through this difficult time, and I would love to get Lalas Puerto Rican kitchen back on track. I want to bring Lala's back in some capacity to continue to serve our remarkable customer base. It was so difficult running Lalas, just Frank and myself during COVID, but we never wanted to let all of you down, so we tried and did the best we could. Additional funds will help me navigate these tough times and assist me with getting things back on track.

To all of LaLa's family and friends, I am so humbled by you and grateful to all of you. your prayers and comforting messages have brought me some peace in this very difficult time. I want to sincerely thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all of your generous donations. I want you all to know that I hope to be able to fight and press forward to continue this journey. I will do this knowing Frankie will always be by my side for he is now one of God's guiding angels. Mi Gente
When the Lord calls our loved ones home he leaves a gift of memories in exchange. God has given us shoulders for a reason.

I want to thank all of you for allowing me to lean on you for strength. I have taken comfort in reading all of your thoughts and prayers. you have given me the courage to carry the burden of my unbearable grief. It lightens my soul to know that the MAGIC that was FRANK MOJICA was felt and so appreciated by all the people, friends and family alike, that he touched. He had a genuine smile and a hug that was like a warm blanket that no one wanted to be released from and so he didn't.

As for myself, it is hard for me to see through this darkness at this time but I did want to take a minute to let you all know how Frankie treasured each and every soul he touched.

We great sadness; we want to let all of LaLa's special customers know of the sudden loss and tragic passing of our beloved Frank Mojica. Frank made every customer feel like they were family with his warmth, infectious smiles, and hugs. LaLa is devasted with this loss, and these past 16 months have not only been stressful but a struggle financially. So many times, they wanted to close the doors, but because they loved the relationship with all of you and the passion they shared in the food and culture, they asked God to keep helping them press forward, and so they did.
