Meet Sydney! Sydney has been part of the Mercato team since September 2023, and we’ve been so lucky to have her back during her winter and summer breaks while she’s been away at college in Canada. Her go-to order is the penne (but spicy), and her favorite part of working at Mercato is the people! Fun fact: Mercato is extra special to Sydney, her parents had their first date here and celebrated their wedding in the Wine Room! She also used to take photos for Mercato’s social media before heading off to college. We are VERY lucky to have you, Sydney!

Meet Topher! Topher has been working at Mercato as a host since November 2025. His favorite food is either the Steak Entree or the Grilled Salmon Salad. His favorite part of working at Mercato is the community, and he also loves the look and vibe of the restaurant. Fun fact: Topher used to play the flute! We’re so lucky to have him!

Meet Wyatt! We’ve had Wyatt on our team since August 2025. He loves our vegan fat spaghetti. His favorite part about working at Mercato is patio season, and getting to work outside! Fun fact: he can solve a Rubik’s cube. We’re so grateful to have you on our team, Wyatt!

Meet Stella! Stella has been at Mercato since May of 2024. Her favorite food is the Grilled Salmon Salad. Her favorite part of working at Mercato is 100% the customers. She loves meeting new people and getting to know the regulars even better. Fun fact about Stella: she started here as a host, moved to server, and is now behind the bar as one of our bartenders. We love watching our team grow!

Meet Lexy! Lexy has been part of the Mercato team since March of 2022. Her favorite item on the menu is our housemade tiramisu! Lexy’s favorite part about working at Mercato is connecting with guests and helping create a wonderful dining experience for each and every one of them. A fun fact about Lexy: she has a serious green thumb and loves spending her time gardening! We’re so grateful to have you on our team, Lexy!

Meet Emily! Emily has been working at Mercato since August of 2021. We’re very lucky to have her as our bar manager, which means she’s the creative force behind all our drink menus! Her favorite food is the BLT. Her favorite part of working at Mercato is tied between the creativity she gets behind the bar and the people she works with. Fun fact about Emily: her cats are legally German citizens and even have their own passports.

Meet Noah! We’ve had Noah on our kitchen team since August of 2023, and he’s brought a great energy ever since. Noah’s favorite dish to cook is our Antipasti plate. His favorite part about working at Mercato is the wonderful sense of community he feels every shift. A fun fact about Noah - he grew up with pet axolotls! We are so incredibly lucky to have him on our team!

Meet Bethany!
Bethany has been part of the Ramblin Restaurant family for 15+ years - 6 at Mercato and 9 at Ramblin Jacks! Her favorite dish depends on her mood: either the Mushroom Brie pizza or the Chicken Entree.
Her favorite part of Mercato is the dinner service. She loves the way timing, multitasking, guests, and the whole flow of the night fit together like one big puzzle!
Something extra special, Bethany started with the company before she was a mom, and now she’s grown alongside it while raising her 9 year old son. We are beyond lucky to have you, Bethany!
