We may have sold out of oysters, but your other favorite menu items are still available for a little while longer! Hurry in before we close our doors this Saturday, January 17th and enjoy the best of New England right here in Nebraska one last time! Salmon and swordfish are getting low at this time and are likely to sell out soon.

We've had some guests requesting some of our classic mignonette to-go for oysters at home. We do have some remaining mignonette and are happy to provide it on request on a first-come first-served basis WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Just let us know when you stop in!

📣Only four more days to get all your favorite New England eats!

Our FINAL SERVICE will be this Saturday, January 17th. Hurry in and make sure that you can enjoy your favorite dishes on our menu before they run out! We have limited oysters on hand and will keep serving until we sell out. We do plan to keep our locally famous lobster rolls, soups, and fish and chips available through our final service, but other menu items will phase out as the week continues. We thank you for your understanding as we prepare to close our doors with as little food waste as possible!

Reminder to use those gift cards! We are happy to accept gift cards through our final service this weekend. We hope you can make it in to share a drink and a meal with us one last time!

📣📣📣UPDATED HOURS📣📣📣

As some staff have already moved on to new positions, we will be updating our hours of operation leading up to our FINAL SERVICE next weekend! Starting today, Saturday 1/10, we will be opening at 12:00pm (noon). We thank you for your understanding as we adjust our service hours to ensure proper staffing.

Please also note that our menu offerings will become more limited as we approach our final service next weekend. We take great pride in offering only the highest quality ingredients, and in limiting food waste to the greatest degree possible. Be sure to come visit us before your favorites sell out!

THANK YOU for all of the support! It's been so fun to see so many of you over the last week since we announced our closing date. We hope to see you all again for one last hurrah before our doors close next weekend!

First off, we just have to say THANK YOU for the huge outpouring of love and support after our announcement last week! We appreciate all the comments and well-wishes as we look ahead to our final weeks of operation ❤️ A few important notes as we move closer to our final service on 1/17:

1. We are planning on maintaining our standard hours of operation as long as staffing allows. This week is looking good so far, but we will certainly post if there are any changes to our scheduled service hours. We appreciate your understanding as we adjust to accommodate changes in staffing as our team finds new positions.

2. Buck-a-Shuck is ON for this Thursday 1/8! Come in and enjoy freshly-shucked oysters on the half-shell for $1 each WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. We will determine whether we will be able to do this again next week and share publicly.

3. Reminder to please come in and use your gift cards before our final service on 1/17! Share a meal, enjoy your favorite cocktail, and savor the taste of New England with us one last time!

The time has come for the sun to set on Sand Point. It's with heavy hearts that we announce that our final service will be on Saturday January 17, 2026. Those of you who know us are keenly aware that Sand Point was always our dream, and we're so grateful to have brought this incredible cuisine to all of our friends here in Omaha. From its inception, Sand Point was a place of family, love, community, and of course, amazing food. We've poured everything into making this place a success, but now it's time for us to turn our focus to family and personal health. We're so grateful to have been part of the incredible food scene here in Omaha these past few years, and it's been an absolute honor and pleasure to share in so many special moments with all of you. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every guest who supported us as we brought this dream to life!

A few important notes:

1. Please be sure to redeem any gift cards before we close on 1/17. Stop in for your favorite New England eats and hand-crafted cocktails!

2. Given our impending closure, we will only be ordering product in limited quantities. We intend to make sure certain crowd favorites like our lobster rolls and soups are consistently offered, but some menu items may be more limited. We thank you in advance for your understanding as we prepare to close our doors with as little food waste as possible.

3. If you see a resume from any of our incredible staff members come through, please strongly consider hiring them! Our team here at Sand Point is absolutely wonderful, and we would love to see them succeed in their next positions.

4. We do plan to list our assets for sale in the near future, and we would be thrilled to see someone take on this beautiful space and bring their dreams to life, just as we did. If you've been considering launching your own restaurant concept, this would be an amazing opportunity to get started!

Thank you for everything, Omaha! We never would have made it this far without you, and we cannot thank you enough for helping us live our dream!
