It's GAME DAY!!!!

Aaron, it's raining out and I still have my deer tag! Why does it matter, the Chiefs are 5-0 and the Hawks have been "underwhelming" at 3-3, shouldn't we just sit this one out?
"Calm down princess.....nobody and I mean NOBODY expected the Seattle Seahawks to go 17-0 this season." We all knew there would be some losses, but there is a LOT of games left. Our Hawks are still in the fight and they NEED the 12's to have their back!
As for that deer tag, I have tags for deer in 3 states and for bears in 2 and I am not willing to miss this game! Our Hawks are looking to rebound and get a much-needed W against a VERY dangerous opponent. For added drama we have the return of K-9 who has been a recking ball through 5 games coming face to face with "the Darkside". This is MUST WATCH tv!!! Plus, with a 5:20 kickoff you can still get a little hunting in!!!
For our special today we have the PERFECT game day meal with the return of our always popular "Double, Double" Cheeseburger Sliders! These "bite sized" burgers are STACKED with 2 juicy seasoned patties and 2 slices of melted Cheese served on a toasted bun with diced onion, fresh tomato and crispy pickle. Happy seahawks Eve (aka; Saturday). Starting to see a few good bucks hit the ground. As much as I'd like to be sitting on Mosquito Mountain chasing deers, Dee said I have to work........"apparently, we still need to make money during hunting season" 😡
I figure if I have to work, I will pull off one of Dee's favorite specials.......the always hectic STEAK NIGHT 🤣 (Side note, by 7pm she will be wishing she just let me go hunting 😇)
Today we are serving up a beautiful hand cut and well-trimmed 12 ounce New York Steak. Your steak is seasoned and grilled to order. Each steak is paired with fluffy Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Rich Brown Gravy, Bacon Wrapped Asparagus and a warm dinner roll for just $18. We will start serving the special as soon as we get the grill hot and it will be available until we sell out........and YES, we will sell out.

Q; Can I get a baked potato?
A; No, this special comes EXACTLY as posted. The ONLY exception is you can substitute fries.

Q; Can I reserve _____ for later?
A; No, this and all our specials are first come first served.

Q; Can I order online?
A; NO

Q; How long is my order going to take?
A; No idea. It depends on number of customers, orders ahead of yours, can it be combined with other orders and prepared at the same time.

Q; What if we're in a hurry???
A; Not a problem. Just let your server know and she can provide you with detailed directions to several fast food restaurants. They are so quick you don't even have to get out of your car.

Q; What if you run out?
A; We 100% plan on running out. This is a steak dinner for less than most fast food meals.

Q; Did I hear sobbing and cursing coming from the kitchen?
A; That's just Aaron, he'll be fine

Q; "Can I get mine medium rare, but not actually medium rare, more medium than rare. I mean I like how my __________ cooks it for me at home. It has some pink, but not too much pink. Happy BLUE FRIDAY!!! The countdown is on! We are just 8 DAYS away from our big All Hallows Eve Trick or Treat night! I am SUPER excited to see all the costumes this year. And the "treats," you beat your back side we have the TREATS!!! We have over 800 full-size candy bars. There is something for EVERYONE!!! With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year we expect a bigger than average turnout (and that's saying something!) We will have hot coco, coffee and snacks to keep parents and tricker treaters energized and ready to panhandle the town 😉
Now the "bad news", because of the larger than normal amount of traffic we expect and the now undeniable disrespect shown with people treating our property like a "park and ride" we have enlisted a towing company to remove vehicles that are not customers or been given permission by Dee to park here. It turns out Dee was not a fan of our entire parking lot being used without permission during certain events. So much so that we couldn't park in our own lot on A.H.F.
Standing between us and All Hallows Eve, one great weekend, some awesome specials, a touch of deer hunting and a little "must win" Primetime Seattle Seahawks football!!!
We are kicking the weekend off with one of our most popular and requested specials our Orange Chicken. We start with 12oz (3/4lb) of crispy tempura chicken tossed in a sweet and savory orange chili sauce. Our sauce has juicy mandarin orange pieces to add another layer for delicious flavor. Once the chicken is nicely coated, we plate it with sushi grade sticky rice. Your meal is then topped with scallions and dusted with sesame seeds. This masterpiece is served with 4 crispy chicken and Potstickers and teriyaki dipping sauce for just $15!!!
This will be available from open until we run out......and you can rest assured, run out we will. As of right now we will be "attempting to take phone orders, but this one gets a little crazy and that could change without warning.

Thirsty Thursday is here and Dee said "enough is enough" and made me come back to work 😢
"I wonder if the deers 🦌are looking up from my clearcut wandering where I am???"
Well, if I have to work, we might as well have some fun. Now I don't know exactly "why" I started thinking about our good buddy Ronald 🤡 and his (somehow) famous mc rib sandwich, but when you sit on a hillside for 3 days your mind can wonder 😆
While I am not a fan of the original sandwich, I do like the "idea." We have done our version few times in the past with great success, but I started wondering........"why didn't Ron add bacon????"
Today we are bringing back OUR version of a rib sandwich. Needless to say there are a few "minor" differences between ours and Ron's, most notably......."our sandwich actually is made from RIBS 🤣"
I fired up the Beast and rolled smoke on some beautiful dry rubbed Baby Back Ribs. Once our ribs are fully cooked, we remove the bones. Our 1/2 rack delicious ribs are served on a toasted bolillo bun with bed creamy coleslaw. As for the afore mentioned "bacon" I thought we could do better. We top your ribs with 2 slices of oven roasted Pork Belly. Each slice is rested and crisped on the flat top to give it that "bacon feel" before being finished with chili infused honey. Finally we top with Pickle slices and crispy fried onions and a drizzled with our house made Wh***ey BBQ sauce. Each sandwich is served with fries for just $18.

Well, I have looked at a lot of land, but no deers have been harmed. One grouse did decide he was a little cold and wanted to ride with us but for now the hunt continues.
With no Seattle Seahawks game today (no I am still not ready to talk about Thursday) we are taking advantage of the easy(er) day and I'll be staying in the woods. That means Dee is running the ship alone. While I don't expect it to be super busy, I would ask that people be patient.
For our special today we are serving a true Diner Classic, the Chili Cheeseburger! For our scratch made chili I course ground Tri-Tip steak and slow cooked it with fresh onions, tomato, bell peppers and a perfect blend of flavor building spices (no, I don't think it is spicy, but I don't know "if" you will think it is spicy 🤷‍♂️). "No beans were hurt making this chili 🤣"
We start with a hand pressed grilled to order 1/2lb Chuck Burger. Your burger is served "open face" on a toasted bun and smothered with our house made chili. Each burger is finished with shredded cheese and chopped onion. Served with fries for just $14.

In other news, for the first time EVER, I will be pulling for Patrick Mahomy and the Chiefs.........not because I like them, but I am aware they are far too good to drop 2 in a row, so I want them "fat and happy" before our Hawks take them on!!!
