If you spent any time on TikTok, you might have known her as Kaspers Knotty Yarn. You saw her talent, her humor, and the incredible way she could turn a ball of yarn into a friend.
Last June, we said a heartbreaking goodbye to a truly wonderful woman after her brave battle with leukemia. She was a creator, a dreamer, and someone who poured her heart into everything she made. Recently, while going through her storage unit, her daughter found these boxes filled with these sweet, handcrafted plushies, finished and ready to find their forever homes. The family is sure that there are more boxes of them stored so we will be adding them as they are found.
Looking at the complexity of the jellyfish and and the beautiful symmetry of the starfish you can see the magic she created. Every loop of yarn and every tiny detail was a moment of her life, a small joyful moment where she chose to make something soft and joyful, even while facing so much.
These aren’t just toys; they are the final "I love you" from a mother and an artist.
