Happy Cinco de Mayo! Today is a great day to offer one of our favorite desserts, the Chocolate Churro Cookie! This deeply rich, mega Chocolate Cookie is filled with cinnamon sugar and a tiny pinch of ancho and cayenne to give you that smoky, warm finish. Each Cookie has a layer of Dulce de Leche in the middle and is filled and topped with a mix of six different chocolates, including our favorite Mexican Stone Ground Chocolate. BITE FANS! WHATS UP?! This weekend, for the first time, we are offering the Banana Box Pie Cookie as a Cookie Bite! This new Gideon’s Cookie features flavors of Real Banana, Toffee, and our Secret Blend of Spices. Topped with a combination of White Chocolate & Crunchy Candied Vanilla Wafers, and then quartered and dipped in Dark Chocolate to make it a Cookie Bite! There are six Bites per bag! I don’t talk about Cookie Bites enough. I started making these babies about 16 years ago, when I wondered if it would be possible to level up a Gideon’s Cookie. For those new to Bites, they are not samples of Gideon’s popular flavors. They are a new experience! Bites are perfectly portioned for when you’ve earned a little treat. Happy Valentine’s Day! Today, I’m very happy to tell you about an extra special Gideon's Cake that is available this Valentine's Weekend. Back when Gideon's only existed in my kitchen, I would sell cakes with a Cheesecake center. The recipe was passed down to me from my Italian family. In 10 years, it has never been duplicated in a cake until this month. The Valentine Trinity Cake features a layer of Strawberry Cake, Chocolate Cake, and Italian Cheesecake. It also has three different buttercreams: Strawberry, Chocolate, and Marshmallow. NOTE : Please keep this one cool. A good Cheesecake can be delicate and may release moisture when subjected to varying temperatures. If that happens to you, just give it a little dab to return things to max pretty. Treat it right, and you will be filled with sweet romance.⁣⁣
