Join us for our next Growing Your Faith this Tuesday, June 9, from 7:00 - 8:00 pm in the Upper Room!

Dan Muhlenkamp is the husband of Susie for over 40 years, father of three adult children, a grandfather, former business owner, and author of No Neutral Ground. For more than 30 years, Dan helped lead Preferred Insurance Center while striving to live and lead according to Christian principles. Though he expected to remain in business much longer, he eventually felt Jesus calling him to give more of his life fully to Him. What followed was not the path Dan expected. Through prayer, struggle, spiritual awakening, and a growing awareness of the reality of eternity and spiritual warfare, God began reshaping his understanding of discipleship and the Christian life.

Today, Dan writes and speaks with a simple mission: helping people meet Jesus personally, how to live as His disciples, and sharing Jesus with others. Through Scripture, personal honesty, and a light demonstration, Dan will challenge you to stop treating faith as something private, occasional, or secondary. You will be invited to come fully into the Light of Jesus, allow Him to expose what the darkness has hidden, and begin carrying His Light into your home, relationships, wounds, habits, and the souls entrusted to you.

We would like to invite you to come early and grab a bite to eat or your favorite beverage If you have questions, please contact Cindy via email at [email protected].

Again, this will be held in the Upper Room at Do Good starting at 7:00 pm. Although we do not take reservations, you can go to our Do Good Restaurant and Ministry Facebook event page and let us know that you will be attending.

Purity, Modesty, Gentleness Dress Ministry

We are blessed to be able to offer the “Purity, Modesty, Gentleness Dress Ministry” (PMG Dress Ministry) at Do Good. What is a PMG dress? It’s an updated version of an old pillowcase dress that has a small gold emblem embroidered on the lower left side consisting of the words purity, modesty, and gentleness. These words form a triangular shape and surround a small cross. The dress also comes with a hand beaded bracelet coordinated to match the dress, designed with three custom slides engraved with the words purity, modesty, and gentleness and a matching scrunchie. We pray for the girl who wears the dress, bracelet and scrunchie that she may grow in each of these virtues and know that she is a “Daughter of the King”.

These dresses will be sent to Tanzania, Nigeria, and Haiti. Do Good is partnering with Fr. Benedict (former Catholic priest to the St. Henry Catholic cluster) from Tanzania, Fr. Charles Obinwa who is from Nigeria (formerly served Catholics in the Ft. Jefferson/Lima area), and Linda Thieman from St. Henry, who has worked with the poor in Haiti for years. With their help, Do Good can send the PMG dresses to orphanages and those in need in these respective countries.

To help support this ministry financially, PMG dress sets will be for sale at Do Good, and each set purchased helps send a dress to a little girl in Tanzania, Nigeria, or Haiti. The set includes a PMG dress (choose from size 2T - 6T), hand beaded bracelet, headband and a matching 18” doll dress (also embroidered with the logo) with scrunchie. It’s a beautiful way to help those in need and to teach our children the importance of helping others. We encourage you to stop by and purchase your dress set today!

We're also introducing quilts that are hand stitched by our volunteers who use the scrap materials from the PMG dresses, so each quilt is uniquely made and is only available in stores for purchase.

PMG dresses and quilts are sewn by volunteers who donate their time and talent, we are grateful for their kindness.
