Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support our staff yesterday! We had a great turn out.

A huge thank you to Root House Coffee + Shop for immediately thinking of a way to help us and providing the space, donations and being such wonderful, generous neighbors.

And a special thanks to Kaitra and Chef Justin for immediately brainstorming ways to help staff during this time and organizing this event.

A COMMUNITY UPDATE FROM MEANDER ❤️

Due to the recent flooding, we are postponing our Harvest W**e Dinner featuring Sutcliffe Vineyards, originally scheduled for Thursday, October 29. If you purchased tickets, you may apply your payment to a future w**e dinner or receive a refund. A member of our management team will reach out to confirm your preference. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we’re able to reopen!

In the meantime, our friends at Root House and Desert Standard are coming together to support Meander’s hourly team, and we’d love to see our community show up for them.

Dear Friends of Meander,

As many of you know, the recent flooding in Pagosa Springs has hit our community hard, and Meander has not been spared. The flood damaged the water and electrical utilities that serve our restaurant, and we’ve had to close our doors until they’re restored. Our best estimate is that we’ll remain closed for one to three weeks, depending on how quickly repairs are completed.

The impact has been significant. We’ve lost sales revenue that we expect to continue losing until we can reopen. Our team members, the people who make every visit to Meander special, are losing wages they count on. We also lost the ingredients we’d thoughtfully sourced from local farms and organic producers and carefully prepared for your plates, which was hard for all of us who care so deeply about that work.

An update from Meander: We will be closed Saturday, October 24, due to an ongoing power outage on our street. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more and share when we’re able to reopen.

We also want to reassure our community that Meander is safe and intact following the historic flooding. The river is running high, but our restaurant remains standing and has not been washed away! We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who has reached out with concern and support.
