What a memorable day at Barrel House 9!

Today, we had the privilege of watching the legendary Big Boy steam locomotive roll past our restaurant. It was an incredible sight and a special moment that brought so many people together.

We want to sincerely thank our customers and our staff for their patience and understanding throughout the day. Because the train's arrival time wasn't exact, everyone showed tremendous flexibility, kindness, and enthusiasm as we waited together for this amazing experience. We couldn't have asked for a better group of people to share it with.

Seeing generations of railroad history pass by our doorstep was truly something we'll remember for years to come.

For those who missed it, Big Boy is scheduled to pass through our area again on Monday, July 13. We'll continue to share updates and more specific timing information as we receive it, so stay tuned to our page for the latest details.

A historic train built in the early 1940s is making its final journey back, and it’s rolling right past our restaurant! We’re just steps from the track so grab a meal, a drink, and a front row view of this rare moment!

We will be carrying all of our delicious $9.99 lunch menu and also featuring
