For a few reasons, it’s been a rough few days, but I talked dad into going to the Lipan Creek with me this evening. I finally saw some relief and relaxation upon his shoulders, and of course it registers to mine as well.

On this Saturday the 16th,1-4 o'clock there will be a gathering at J Dortiks on Oak Street across from ML Leddys in honor of Joe Brosig’s 85th birthday. Please stop by at any time and have a brew and listen to the good music. There will be a very large card for everyone to sign their birthday message to. No gifts! Please know, signing that painting will be something he can enjoy for the rest of his years.
If you’re seeing this, you are invited. If you know someone that cannot see this, please share the information.
He knows about the party, but does not yet know about the “card”. If you were unable to make it to the party, but you definitely want to be on this so-called art piece, it will be at my house this week and folks are welcome to stop by. 
I plan to have some water, beer, and a few bar snacks available, and I’m sure that others will bring snack food. Lets have a good fellowship no extra is needed.

“Dear Boss,
Being that this land has received a great rain last night and we are not able to haul dirt from the pit to the site, I thought it a good opportunity to take my rig from the dirt pit to town for lunch, errands, and fuel. Once I finally slipped and mucked my way to the highway, it became apparent to me that it was too wet to be driving on dirt roads. I then decided that I should return to the pit and sit tight for the day. I was amazed that I could not proceed all the way down that same road I had just mucked up. Lo and behold - I got stuck! Now I didn’t want to bother anyone, so I walked to the pit and borrowed a bulldozer from the contractor company and drove it to where my rig was bogged down. Since no one was around, no one would have known that I didn’t have permission nor an operators license. Imagine my amazement when the dozer operator and land owner showed up to investigate the back up beeping. Frankly they were less than impressed with my attempt to rectify the issue. Hopefully you have had a great and relaxing day! Let’s chat soon”
