Some of my favorite memories growing up weren’t from big vacations or special occasions…

They were the nights when everyone gathered around the table. We talked about our day, laughed together, passed the food around, and for just a little while, life slowed down.

Somewhere along the way, those nights became harder to find.

So we thought… what if every Thursday, we helped bring a little of that feeling back?

Welcome to Thursday Family Night at Italian Princess.

Every Thursday, we’ll feature two homemade family dinners, made fresh from scratch and designed to make one night each week a little easier… and a little more meaningful.

Growing up, one of my favorite Sunday morning memories was getting up early with my dad and my brother while my mom got to sleep in. We’d head to our favorite bagel shop—J & J Bagels in Queens, New York.

Even as a little kid, I remember the smell of hot, fresh bagels the moment we opened the door. There was just something special about it. Looking back now, I realize it wasn’t only the bagels… it was the tradition, the time together, and the memories we were making without even knowing it.

Fast forward more than 30 years, and life has come full circle.

Today, it’s that same family—plus my husband, Brenton—that gets up before the sun to hand roll, boil, and bake our bagels the traditional New York way. Every bagel that comes out of our ovens carries a little piece of those Sunday mornings I grew up with.

Our greatest hope is that we’re helping create those same kinds of memories for your family. Maybe it’s a quick breakfast before church, a Sunday tradition with your kids, or simply sharing a hot bagel and a cup of coffee with someone you love.

💙 Thankful Thursday is Back… Just a Little Early. 💙

If you’ve been part of our Italian Princess family for a while, you probably know that every November we celebrate something that’s become one of our favorite traditions—Thankful Thursday.

It’s our way of giving back to the community that has given so much to us.

But after the incredible kindness you’ve shown Brenton and me over the past week and a half, we just couldn’t wait until November.

We’ve welcomed so many familiar faces back through our doors, met so many first-time customers, and felt an overwhelming amount of love and encouragement. Whether this was your very first visit or your hundredth, every breakfast, every loaf of bread, every pastry, every sandwich, every dinner, every kind word, every comment, and every recommendation has meant more to us than you’ll ever know.

You’ve reminded us that community is alive and well here in Palm Bay, and we’re so grateful to be a small part of it.

So today, we’d love to turn your kindness into kindness for someone else.

🇺🇸 We’ve been baking up a storm this week, and with Brenton officially back, it’s been so nice to be preparing for the holiday together!

Today, our little family is whole again. ❤️

For a little while, our bakery wasn’t quite complete. Today, it is.

Over the last few months, life has tested our family in ways we never expected. Through it all, you reminded us why we opened our doors in the first place.

Over the last few days especially, so many of you have come in to support us after reading our last post. Some of you drove across town. Some of you came for the very first time. Some of you brought friends. Others simply stopped to tell us you were thinking about us.

Please know that none of it went unnoticed.

Every order, every smile, every kind word, every recommendation, every shared post… it all mattered. More than you know.

We also want to say something that’s important to us.

We truly welcome honest feedback because that’s how we learn, improve, and become better. We will never stop listening to our customers.

But there’s a difference between helping a small business grow and trying to tear one down. Behind every local business are real people with families, employees, long days, sleepless nights, and dreams they’re working incredibly hard to keep alive.

💛 A little piece of our hearts…

When we opened The Italian Princess, it wasn’t because we wanted to own a business.

It was because we wanted to build something our family could pour our hearts into. A place where recipes passed down through generations could become part of someone else’s family traditions.

Over the past few months, many of you have watched our family walk through some incredibly difficult personal challenges. Your prayers, kind words, and support have carried us further than you’ll ever know.

As we begin turning the page and looking toward brighter days, we’re facing another reality that so many small businesses are experiencing right now.

The dining room has been quieter.

The mornings have been slower.

The weekends that once kept us running all day have become unexpectedly quiet.

We know times are different. We know families are watching every dollar. We are too.

But here’s something we hope people never forget…
