This is one of the hardest things we’ve had to write—but also one of the most hopeful.
Our play café, Little Brew, has been a home away from home for so many families in Palm Harbor. It’s where friendships have blossomed, milestones have been celebrated, meltdowns have been understood, and magic has lived in the small moments—coffee in hand, little ones laughing just a few feet away.
But recently, we received heartbreaking news: the building we lease has been sold, and the new owners are not renewing our lease. We’re being forced to leave the space that has meant so much to so many.
And yet, this might just be the beginning of something even more beautiful.
Just two blocks down the road, we’ve found a new building available for lease. It’s a bigger investment, but it comes with something we never had before: a large, open courtyard space that could become a family-friendly oasis in the heart of downtown.
We envision more than just a café. We dream of:
• A vibrant green courtyard where kids can run and play safely free of charge.
• A small playground and sensory-rich spaces designed with children in mind.
• Garden beds, shady trees, and cozy nooks for gathering.
• Evenings with twinkle lights, music, community dinners, and pop-up markets.
• A downtown hub where families, friends, and neighbors can slow down and connect.
We’re not just trying to save our café. We’re trying to grow something new—something that will serve this community for years to come.
You may already know that we also run the Downtown Palm Harbor Market and are committed to revitalizing this incredible town we call home. We believe in building spaces where families are welcomed, where small businesses thrive, and where downtown Palm Harbor becomes a destination—not just a drive-through.
This new location is a chance to bring that mission to life in a big, visible way. But we can’t do it without your help.
The truth is: this move is sudden. The costs are steep. And our timeline is short.
We’re asking for support from the very community that has helped make Little Brew what it is today. If you’ve ever enjoyed a warm coffee while your child played… if you’ve ever felt seen, supported, or safe in our space… if you’ve watched your little one make their first friend here, or found your own village in our walls—we ask you now to help us build what’s next.
