It is with great sorrow that we share this heartbreaking news with you.
The Copper Moon Steakhouse has closed its doors.
When we started this business we were able to secure a SBA guaranteed loan through our bank. The SBA loan program has decided to dissolve which means our loan is no longer available. We have been tryin to work with our bank to rewrite the loan but they are unable/unwilling to work with us to secure a new loan. Because they no longer wish to work with us we have made the difficult decision to close the business.
This decision by the bank comes at the busiest time for the business but also the worst time for our team members. We hope our loyal customers will find other small businesses to support during this holiday season.
We want to sincerely thank every single person who has supported us during these years from the bottom of our hearts. It has been a phenomenal journey creating these memories with everyone. Because of all the support we were able to help support over 30 non-profit organizations over the last 3 years.
During the last 3 years we have been able to double our projections as well as make so many improvements to the building and equipment. The Copper Moon Steakhouse was the recipient of three "Best of..." Awards and we were honored to have three food critics come out to a small town in Nebraska and give raving reviews. All of this wouldn't have been possible without YOU our loyal customers.
We ask that you please be respectful during this hardship that this will cause for not only the owners but also all of our team members by spreading hateful/hurtful gossip. The employees we have welcomed into our restaurant were not just our team members but have become a part of our family. We know this going to be very difficult for them. With that being said, we want to thank our team for everything they have done for us. It was our pleasure having you all work for us and being able to watch our young team members grow into amazing people. We love all of you.
And finally we will leave this place knowing that we honored our family's recipes and ourselves by putting our everything into our Steakhouse. God bless you all and we thank you for making The Copper Moon Steakhouse the best place.
