I have been putting off writing this post for weeks because I knew many of you would be disappointed. Truthfully, we are just as disappointed.
Our dream of opening the pizza side of our shop has run into more challenges than we anticipated. It seems that every time we complete one requirement, another obstacle appears. Navigating the health department regulations has proven to be much more complicated and time-consuming than we expected, and at this point, we feel it is wise to pause and regroup rather than continue pushing forward before we're ready.
This is not the end of our pizza shop dream. It is simply a postponement. We fully intend to continue working toward that goal as we learn, grow, and navigate the regulations one step at a time.
In the meantime, we are moving forward with other parts of our vision. I am currently working on obtaining my home processing license, which will allow me to offer baked goods, granolas, and other homemade products. You'll be able to find us at local farmers markets and delivery and community events as we continue building toward the future.looking forward to serving you .
We want to sincerely thank everyone who has encouraged us, supported us, and looked forward to our pizza shop. Your excitement has meant so much to us. While this chapter looks a little different than we planned, we are trusting that this is simply a detour, not a dead end.
We look forward to sharing this journey with you and keeping you updated as we continue moving toward our goal.
