Sometimes I get so caught up in chasing what’s next that I forget to appreciate how far I’ve come.
What people see today is the result of countless long nights, sacrifices, setbacks, and moments when giving up would’ve been the easier choice.
Building Tacos El Güero Gil has taught me that chasing a dream isn’t always exciting. Sometimes it’s exhausting. Sometimes it’s uncertain. But you keep showing up because you believe in what you’re building.
I’m still learning. Still growing. Still figuring things out.
And sometimes I have to remind myself… I’m already living a dream I once prayed for. 🙏🏼
