After closing our doors in May 2024 for retirement, we realized we weren’t quite done yet. We’re excited to announce our reopening as a carry-out only bakery featuring daily dinner specials. Each week, we offer a fresh menu of

homemade soups and dinners available for take-out. Call ahead or stop in to place your order and enjoy our delicious offerings! Our bakery and desserts are made fresh daily, ensuring you get the best quality treats. Our hours are typically 11:30 AM - 6 PM Monday through Friday. Hours may change slightly due to events and family functions. Follow our page for any updates on hours or menu changes based on availability.

We truly cannot thank our community enough for the overwhelming love and support you’ve shown us this past week as we announced our official closing. Your kind words, memories, and encouragement have meant more to us than we can ever express.

🚨Please note that we will not be open tomorrow.

Between the expected weather and the fact that we have genuinely run out of everything, we’re unable to open our doors.

It has been an absolute pleasure serving you, Parma. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for allowing us to be part of this community. We wish you all the very best.

After much thought and with full hearts, we’re sharing that Sweet Rue’s at Pappou’s will officially be closing its doors for the final time on February 6, 2026.

After our original last day of business in May 2024, we reopened as a carry-out only kitchen to continue serving this incredible community while we worked toward selling the business and closing this chapter. As of this week, that goal has been fulfilled, and we feel ready and at peace to take this next step into retirement.

To everyone who supported us during this time — those who ordered our specials, enjoyed our bakery, and trusted us to cater your special events — thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your loyalty and kindness truly meant the world to our family.

We’re also excited to share some great news: The Red Chimney, a well-established and much-loved restaurant, will be moving into our space! They plan to renovate over the next few months and will be opening soon to continue serving the community.

Thank you for decades of memories, meals, and support. We hope you’ll continue showing love to The Red Chimney when they reopen in our fabulous location. ❤️
