When I left the Amish on Wednesday, I told myself this was my final trip… Pasadena, this is why you need to check out the Pasadena Business Association parade this Sunday! Everything on these carts it’s going to be handed out Sunday afternoon! I thought we would have enough at the business, but I just love you all so much, I thought it was a good idea to buy more. 🫣 We will have about a dozen employees handing succulents/flowers/ mums/flower bulbs and more to adults; mini pumpkins, gourds, needos etc to kids! This will be our biggest representation in the last three years. You’re not going to want to miss this…

This past Friday night, Vanessa and I were able to slip out of the Farmer’s Market together to attend the Pasadena Business Association 40th Anniversary Ceremony. It was the first time the two of us have both been away from the property since opening 5 weeks ago. We are so thankful we did. What a special celebration to be a part of. The PBA, led by Tom Latta, John Collins, Sara De Leon, Cortney Stitt & Hayley Bowerman put a fantastic evening together and The Backyard is so honored to be a part of this. We were told “I know you’re busy, but you might want to seriously think about going”. lol We are truly blessed. We were honored to receive the “Business Growth Award” & to be recognized as the runner-up for the “Business of the year” in all of Pasadena. Special thanks to the Rumor Group who hosted this spectacular event. Thank you so much Pasadena, we love you all and it is our please to continue serving the Pasadena and surrounding communities! 🥰
PS. We’re very sorry we were not dressed up for this ceremony!😬
